For silhouette, we would suggest the STac 2½-17½ x56 IR 4A as it affords all the advantages of an illuminated reticle designed for offhand shooting
For hunting we find the SIH 4-12X40 FT MOA20 really hard to beat for the price.
From the Kahles line, we chose the K1050i scopes that are designed for Field Target with a special set of erectors and a special focusing mechanism that allows precise rangefinding and extraordinarily reliable and positive clicking.
